START/FINISH
The 5k run will start and finish at Mill Village Trailhead (109 Eve St., Augusta, GA 30904) and will continue onto the canal towpath. This route will be primarily concrete with some gravel and dirt.
REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUPOnline registration will remain open right up until November 28, 2024 at 8:45 a.m. Race shirts are guaranteed to everyone who registers by October 27, 2024. Extra shirts (if any) will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Packet pickup will be at Fleet Feet Augusta, 229 Furys Ferry Rd., Augusta, Georgia on 11/27/2023 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Registration prices
- 5K without a shirt are $20 through race day
- 5K with a shirt is $20 through 12/31/2024, $25 through 10/27/2024, $30 through 11/27/2024, and $35 race day
- Virtual runner registration is $25 through 8 a.m. on race day
Note: All runners who register by October 27, 2024 will be guaranteed to receive an official race shirt! Extra shirts (if any) will be distributed on a first come-first serve basis until they are gone.Runners will be given race packets that include a Thanksgiving themed unisex t-shirt plus items from local sponsors and/or discounts on products.
Age Groups and Awards
Age Groups are 14 and Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 - 79, and 80 + male and female plus top 3 overall. Awards will be determined closer to the event date. Chip Timed with awards based on Gun Times.
Parking
Parking will be available at the The Salvation Army Kroc Center located at 1833 Broad St., Augusta, Georgia 30904.
